International Use of - UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
As of now, seven countries have adopted Unified Payments Interface (UPI), allowing Indians to make payments internationally. These countries are:
1. France
2. UAE
3. Mauritius
4. Sri Lanka
5. Singapore
6. Bhutan
7. Nepal.
UPI, developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), facilitates real-time inter-bank transactions through mobile phones. It's exciting to see this "Make in India, Make for the World" initiative expanding its reach globally!
